Corporate Plan 2008-11 Consultation

The Corporate Plan sets out our priorities, expenditure proposals and targets over a 3 year period. We are required to submit a formal Corporate Plan to Government setting out our investment plans for the next 3 years, every 2 years. The last statutory Corporate Plan was our 2005-08 Plan. The 2008-11 Plan is particularly important in the light of the recent Comprehensive Spending Review and Sub National Review announcements.

The content and structure of the 2008-11 Plan is based on the outline guidance provided by the Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR). The content aligns closely to the Regional Economic Strategy (RES) and the RES Action Plan, developed following extensive consultation with partners and wider stakeholders.

The consultation for commenting on our draft Corporate Plan closed at 12:00 noon on Wednesday 2nd January 2008.

Following consultation, the One NorthEast Board will be signing off a final version of the Corporate Plan at its meeting on 15 January 2008, before it is formally submitted to BERR at the end of January 2008.
