This is a prominent urban area on the eastern fringe of the City Centre and contains many historic buildings. A delivery structure is being prepared by the Sunniside Partnership, which proposes to create 5,000 sq m of office space, up to 930 new homes, 2,500 sq m of retail and 1,650sq m of leisure uses.
