Local Support
Local authorities in the region provide assistance packages to investors. Such packages may combine financial incentives and other forms of assistance and could include:
- Job creation grants;
- Financial or practical assistance in the preparation of a business plan;
- Business rates or rent free periods; and
- Assistance with the preparation of a site or building.
Local authorities can also offer valuable advice on matters relating to sites and premises within their area. The level of assistance available is discretionary and depends on the features of individual projects and the location selected.
