Stewart Lorrimer

Stewart Lorrimer is Regional Operations Director North for Marriott Hotels.  Born in Glasgow to a hotelier and brought up in and around hotels, he has a degree in Hotel and Catering Management.

He is currently based at the Newcastle Marriott Hotel Gosforth Park with responsibility for the four Marriott Hotels in the North East.  Previous roles within Marriott include managing the Metrocentre Hotel and in Manchester and Aberdeen. 

He chairs the North East Hotels Association and is a member of the North East Employers Coalition, Convention Bureau Steering Group, Young Enterprise Tyne and Wear Board and Newcastle and Gateshead Initiative.
